Color Me Geek

The Karate KidImage via WikipediaSo I am awake early. As I am everyday. However when I woke up today, I found out that American Movie Classics doesn't want me to get any work done today. Nope, not one bit of it.

I was sitting around watching a little television before I started by day and I looked through to see what I could put on as background noise while I write. I like to usually have something that I can ignore on, but not today. I'm not even sure that I can pay attention to trying to get over my writer's block.

Currently, AMC is showing the film ENEMY MINE, and then following that up is the original PLANET OF THE APES. Now if you think that is a great combo, it gets better! Following that up is the classic (soon to be destroyed by Keanu Reeves) film, THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. But wait! There's more! Then they decided to torture me a bit further with the film WARGAMES. Then what comes on could be background noise for some, and being that it's a Tom Cruise film could turn alot of people off, but THE LAST SAMURAI then graces television airwaves.

Last but not least, I get a double shot of Ralph Macchio and Noriyuki 'Pat' Morita in THE KARATE KID and THE KARATE KID II. The hits don't stop there though as they then RE-SHOW both of those fine films, as if the 4 hours I just spent with Arnold from Happy Days isn't enough. Knowing me though, I'll probably watch both movies, and watch them twice.

I really need to get out. Some one rip open their shirt to reveal that giant S and save me, please.
