Ahhh, The X-Men

Image via WikipediaNow when I sit here watching this episode of X-Men the Animated Series, I wonder why they didn't follow the comics a little closer. They had the ability to do so. I mean it had all of the proper elements; Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Gambit, Wolverine, Rogue, and Storm. Some of the folks that they could have, and should have included are, Iceman, Psylocke, Angel (Archangel) and a slew of others.

The episode in question, showcased an Archangel who was hellbent on revenge on the mighty Apocalypse. What kind of team do they assemble to help take on the 5,000 year old En Sabah Nur? Why that daunting task went to Cyclops, Beast, Rogue, Wolverine, and Gambit.

Impressive, I know. That's exactly who I would want to take on the nigh indestructible and immortal Apocalypse.

I've complained enough. I'm off to buy stock in Campbell's Soup. Bout the only thing that we can afford once this bill passes.
